To assist in the implementation of the technology curriculum for the computer class that will correlate with the classroom curriculum. To assist students in the use of school and school district software.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of computers and software, Window, Excel, Access, etc.
- Ability to work effectively with children as well as teachers
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
- College courses and experience with computer hardware and software
ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following (or other duties assigned by the Superintendent or Board).
- Assist students/teachers in computer lab
- Will be responsible for the computer hardware in the lab
- Assist in the selection, purchase and licensing of software used by students and teachers
- Use the technology curriculum and assist the teachers in implementing technology into the subject area curriculum
- Performs other tasks and assumes other responsibilities as may be assigned by the Superintendent and/or the Board deem necessary.
This is an "at will" position in that the employer or employee may terminate employment at any time for any reason consistent with applicable state or federal law. The employment "at will" policy cannot be changed verbally or in writing, unless the change is specifically authorized in writing and approved by the Board of Trustees of District 411.
All recommendations for hire are tentative offers. Employment is contingent upon board approval, and successful completion of a federal background check and drug-free workplace pre-employment screening.
