Position Description:

The CDL Driver II will perform duties associated with transporting hazardous and non-hazardous waste between ReWorld facilities and the client's sites. Drives will have the opportunity to operate a variety of equipment including vacuum tankers, vacuum trucks, vans, and flat beds.

Responsibilities:

* Operate equipment in a safe manner following DOT regulations and company policies and regulations.


* Drive commercial vehicles to pick up and transport waste to a designated location safely while meeting scheduled appointments and following all DOT regulations.


* Ensure placarding of the vehicle meets DOT regulations.


* Maintain paperwork including expense reports, timesheets, vehicle inspection reports, manifests, and job sheets.


* Inspect truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.


* Secure cargo prior to and during transit.


* Complete additional assigned duties.



Requirements:

* High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred


* ReWorld offers GED Works - a fully funded program for employees to achieve their GED.


* Must be 21 years or older, due to interstate travel in a commercial vehicle and federal regulations.


* 2+ years of commercial driving experience.


* CDL Class A with Tanker endorsement required.


* HazMat endorsement highly preferred but not required.


* Clean driving record.


* Ability to use a tablet for E-Logs.


* Abide by standard DOT regulations.
