About the Role:
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Research Associate to join our team at our Cambridge site.
- The ideal candidate will have expertise in HPLC and hands-on lab experience.
- The role involves performing experiments, organizing data, and analyzing results with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and follow established experimental design and protocols to obtain reproducible and reliable results.
- Plan, monitor, conduct, analyze, and record experiments, providing interpretation of data.
- Transfer experimental methods from literature to the lab and make necessary modifications.
- Develop and implement new protocols with moderate review.
- Work efficiently in a matrix team environment and collaborate with coworkers.
- Communicate data and interpretation to work group.
- Develop systems to ensure quality data.
- Use standard laboratory equipment and major laboratory instruments/techniques (HPLC, CE, physical property testing, etc.). Troubleshoot equipment and experimental difficulties.
- Contribute to reports, papers, presentations, regulatory documents, and patents.
- Participate in department-wide support efforts such as safety, recruiting, and committees.
- Train staff and/or supervise others.
- Coordinate and organize resources needed to complete tasks.
- Seek input and make independent judgments as needed.
Education Qualification:
- Minimum BS degree in Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biology, or related discipline with at least 2 years of experience in a Biopharmaceutical working environment.
Required Skills:
- HPLC expertise able to operate, process data, and report findings into electronic lab notebook.
- Good organizational skills
- able to handle multiple tasks and communicate effectively with different teams.
- Experience working in a biopharmaceutical lab demonstrating analytical skills in compendial assays such as pH, osmolality, protein concentration, particle sizing, etc.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Analyze samples from Drug product related studies and process the data output according to known SOPs and protocols.
- Transcribe all data into a lab notebook for compliance.
