Rehabilitation Technician

Lancaster Nursing & Rehabilitation is looking for a detail-oriented & determined individual to serve the residents of our facility as Rebahilitation Technician This is a full-time position that consists of a Monday through Friday 8a-4p schedule. WE WANT YOU

PURPOSE:

The Rehabilitation Technician assists the LNR Therapy Department in directing daily operations and maintaining compliance with regulatory guidelines. The Rehab Tech may also assist LNR therapists with treatments. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Maintain compliance and regulatory driven duties such as obtaining physician signatures, maintain quarterly screen compliance and any other State or CMS regulations 
• Coordinate therapy schedule with residents and nursing staff
• Complete clerical related duties in regards to patients, clients & team members
• Coordinate work activities with members of other departments and other staff within the rehabilitation department
• Assist with maintaining an adequate stock of supplies and equipment
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the treatment areas and department
• Assist patients, clients, team members with issues or needs 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school graduate degree or equivalent
• Previous experience in patient/resident care in a nursing center, hospital, or rehabilitation center preferred. Therapy students will be considered.
