The Ambulatory Clinic Ahead Program (ACAP) is an exciting opportunity for CMAs to start in our hiring pool, receive standardized training to St. Luke’s and the opportunity to rotate through clinics to find a permanent position in a Treasure Valley clinic that is an ideal fit. Your Treasure Valley work location will vary based on current open positions and preference, including location, specialty, and shift.

 

What you can expect from this role

  • Clinic rotations offer a chance to explore different clinic positions firsthand and can help individuals make more informed decisions on final placement
  • Gain experience and expertise through our comprehensive standardized medical assistant onboarding, preparing you to excel in the dynamic environment of our clinics.
  • Part-time and full-time day shift opportunities available, occasional weekends and holidays
  • Primary Care and Specialty Clinic positions available

Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Graduation from a Medical Assistant program

Certifications

  • Current BLS-CPR Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Current recognized National Certification as a Medical Assistant from one of the following: NCCT, NAHP, AMT, AAMA, AMCA, or NHA
