What You Will Do:

* Monitor employee expiration dates regarding drivers' licenses, certifications and DOT Medical Cards necessary to legally transport students and passengers.


* Communicate with Safety and Training to ensure compliance with annual in-service training requirements necessary for renewal.


* Ensure driver's DOT Medical Cards and Examination Reports are complete with proper documentation needed for the renewal process.


* Initiate renewal processes efficiently to ensure employees' drivers' licenses, medical cards and certificates are renewed prior to expiration, including notifying employees, scheduling physicals, and uploading renewal applications to the appropriate government agency.


* Collect copies of renewed licenses, Medical Cards and certificates from employees and update employee records and files as they pertain to driver's licenses and certificates in accordance with the Company's objectives as well as state and federal mandates.


* Obtain yearly driving records and collaborate with safety leadership to review it meets company standards.


* Conduct routine audits of driver files to ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal rules, laws, and regulations (FMCSA, DOT, etc.) as they pertain to employee driver's licenses and certificates.


* Prepare audit reports and communicate compliance issues as needed.


* Use Company technology platforms thoroughly and effectively to manage related processes and procedures, as well as obtain information as it relates to driver's license and certificate renewals.



Skills You Wil Need to Be Successful

Pay rate: $26-$29/hour

* Thrive in a fast-paced, high-intensity work environment.


* Active or ability to acquire MA Notary Public.


* Ability to travel to regional locations, as necessary, approximately 50% of time traveling.

Technical Skills required:


* 3+ years in an administrative role


* Experience working in a high customer interfacing role or role working with children.


* Strong technology skills Microsoft Office Suite, (need others)


*
* Self-Starter and Able to Work Independently.


* Ability to think quickly and make decisions in collaboration with other


* Diffuse driver compliance issues in a manner that is respectful and professional.


* People focused leadership style.
