POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Catering Manager, transports catering supplies and equipment; assists in food preparation, serving beverages and clean up.

**TYPICAL DUTIES:**

+ Drives truck transporting catering supplies and equipment.

+ Loads and unloads truck.

+ Keeps track of catering equipment and notifies Catering Manager of any needed repairs.

+ Assists in preparation of foods, arrangement of buffet or dining tables.

+ Sets up and tends bar or assists head bartender.

+ Assists in serving beverages.

+ Assists in clean up.

+ Performs other related duties as required.

**QUALIFICATIONS:**

Requires the ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions. Requires at least 2 years' experience in some type of food preparation. Requires a chauffeur's license and experience in operating trucks. Requires the physical ability to lift heavy items. Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods
