Part-Time Endocrinologist MD, NP, or PA

Community Medical & Dental Care Inc. is currently looking for a part-time endocrinologist PA or NP to join our team. As an endocrinologist PA or NP, you will have the opportunity to provide care to patients with a wide range of endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid disease, hormone imbalances, and Infertility.

Responsibilities and Duties

+ Analyze, examine, and investigate patients and their medical histories for signs and symptoms of hormonal imbalances.

+ Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood tests, urine tests, and imaging tests.

+ Discuss diagnoses with patients, explain treatment options, and give advice on medications, lifestyle and dietary changes, and other preventative measures.

+ Carry out follow-up appointments, monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans and medications, and update patient records.

+ Support patients with serious or complex endocrine conditions and their loved ones.

+ Conduct research and studies on the endocrine system and its diseases, disorders, and conditions to develop new treatment techniques.

+ Remain up-to-date on current discoveries, developments, trends, research, and technology.

+ Handle basic administrative, clerical, and business tasks, such as filing, answering phones, or data entry.

Qualifications and Skills

+ A master's degree in physician assistant studies or nursing from an accredited program.

+ Must have an Active NY stat License

+ Be Board Certified

+ NY state Medicaid ID Number

+ Experience in endocrinology or a related field preferred.

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

+ Proficiency with medical software and equipment.

+ The ability to speak multiple languages will be advantageous.
