The Regional Chief of Primary Care is responsible for providing clinical and operational leadership for the practices in the North Region of the Nemours Children's Health Primary Care network in the Delaware Valley.

In this role, the Regional Chief will oversee clinical care, quality and safety, process improvement, and patient and staff experience, and partner with Administrators to oversee the budget for the eight Nemours primary care offices in Southeastern Pennsylvania that comprise our North Region. The Regional Chief will collaborate with the Clinical Operations Director, Administrators, and practice leadership, participate in primary care leadership meetings, and represent primary care in health system meetings and committees as well as community partnerships.

This role will serve as direct supervisor for the Physicians-in-Charge of each practice and will report to the Chief of Primary Care. The Regional Chief will participate in the recruitment, training, and professional development of pediatricians and APPs. In addition, the Regional Chief will be committed to supporting education of trainees, research and scholarship, value-based care, health equity, and helping build a diverse and inclusive team environment.

Requirements:

* Graduate of ACGME-approved pediatric training program in the United States of America.
* Experience in front line comprehensive pediatric practice.
* Demonstrated clinical and leadership competence and professional accountability.
* Teaching experience.
* Licensed as physician in state(s) appropriate for territory with valid DEA registration.
* American Board of Pediatrics certified or board eligible with certification within 2 years of hire date.
