We are seeking a Electrical Assembly Technician to join our team This position will assemble electrical parts, pieces or products using a variety of tools and equipment according to required specifications.

Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities Listed Below - Compensation and position level commensurate with education and experience.

* Read, interpret and follow engineering drawings, diagrams, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble product.
* Wiring harness assembly, mount electrical components, and finish wire in junction box per schematic. Mount junction box and route cable assemblies on finish product.


* Perform soldering, crimping, wiring, layout, and mounting of components per drawing or specification.
* Perform work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards. Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified. Rework and/or repair assembled equipment.

Qualifications

Preferred Education / Experience:

* Associates degree in related discipline
* 3+ years of experience or;
* A combination of education and experience equivalent to above

Preferred Knowledge / Ability:

* Strong knowledge of electrical/electronic components and equipment including the use of special instruments for assembly and diagnostic purposes.
* Ability to read blue prints and technical specifications.
* Perform a high degree of precision work - wiring, soldering, crimping.
* Proficient with basic hand tools.
* Self-starter ability to work independently with little supervision.
* Strong communication, organizational, time management, and basic mathematical skills.
* Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem, produce a new concept and or idea.
