Schedule: 40 hours per week - Monday - Friday between 6:00 AM - 7:00 PM, plus occasional additional hours as needed and weekend flexibility Pay: $50-60 per hour (based on experience) Location: ON-SITE in Mesa, AZ Status: Consultant: Starting off as a consultant/contractor there is always potential for long term / conversion for the right employee upon business needs. Almost all of the positions within this client start off as a contractor due to being a Fortune 100 company.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Verify prescriptions and prescription data entered into the pharmacy computer system for accuracy
  • Oversee the activities of pharmacy technicians and inventory personnel (including ensuring quality work, providing direction/feedback and support)
  • Organize workload, sets priorities, completes assignments in a timely manner and utilizes resources appropriately while complying with department program standards
  • Work in the fulfillment area to provide the final quality check prior to medication being packed and shipped
  • Automated tablet dispenser calibration support
  • Lift totes 5 -10 lbs
  • Basic understanding of robotic automation

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Pharmacist license in good standing in the State of Arizona
  • 1+ years of experience working as a licensed Pharmacist
  • Ability to navigate MS Office and a Windows based environment and the ability to create, edit, save, and send documents utilizing Microsoft Word
  • Ability to navigate Outlook and conduct Internet searches
  • Able to work the designated shift and flexible hours

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5+ years experience as a retail Pharmacist
  • Attention to detail
  • Self-directed
  • Ability to provide RPH oversight/direction to technician and clerk staff
