* Position Summary
* Performs and documents psychosocial assessment of patients to assist in multidisciplinary treatment and discharge planning in accordance with patient needs.




* Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
* Education: Graduate of an accredited graduate school of Social Work


* License/Certifications: Current Maine State Licensure as LMSW or LCSW. MOAB certified within 6 months of hire.


* Experience: Preferred recent experience in an Acute Behavioral Health Care setting.


* Demonstrates working knowledge of medical and psychiatric terminology.


* Articulates an understanding of appropriate approaches with individuals experiencing significant psychological illness.


* Demonstrates an ability to function as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
