The Branch Agency Tax Records Specialist position is specialized clerical and warehouse work enforcing the requirements of Florida Statutes and ensuring compliance with DHSMV rules and regulations. Incumbent performs clerical duties requiring a working knowledge of established procedures, regulations and provisions of applicable Florida Statutes and local ordinances, code and rules and regulations. Primary duties involve assisting auto tag agencies with report and inventory matters; explaining necessary fees and procedures; collecting and cashiering fees for unaccounted for inventory and county service fees; auditing, posting maintaining motor vehicle reports, transactions and records.
