Description

SUMMARY

The customer service assistant is responsible for providing effective customer service to all internal and external customers. Assist in the processing of incoming and outgoing mail, prepping, scanning, and indexing of documents to our records management system.

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Processes outgoing mail to customers.
  • Open, stamp, and distribute incoming mail - requires individual to sort individual envelopes stamp each item with an automatic date stamp machine.
  • Bundles mail into batches of 20 items per batch.
  • Preps, scans, and indexes mail to files.
  • Log payments into system.
  • Hourly system updates.
  • Prepare bank deposits.
  • Process return mail
  • File audits.
  • Monitor department emails.
  • Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.

KEY COMPENTENCIES

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position does not require any supervisory responsibilities.

MINIMUM EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND REQUIREMENTS
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work the scheduled hours

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • 2 years of experience

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
