The Infection Prevention Specialist is considered an Infection Prevention Practitioner. An IP Specialist is expected to work autonomously and should not require mentorship in their role.

Position is full-time, 1.0 FTE, Day shift, Monday-Friday, 40 Hours Per Week.

Required qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree Nursing, Public Health, Lab Sciences, Microbiology or related health science field; or equivalent educ/experience
* Within 1 year of hire National Certified in Infection Control - Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology
* 1 year Healthcare Experience
* 1 year Epidemiology Experience
Preferred qualifications:
* Master's Degree Nursing, Public Health, Lab Sciences, Microbiology or related health science field; or equivalent educ/experience
* 4 years Healthcare Experience
* 2 years Epidemiology Experience
