Overview
We are seeking an accomplished and strategic Senior Director to lead our PEO Specialty Group at Paychex. As the Senior Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the complete strategy of our PEO Specialty teams including benefits, underwriting, solutions design, tax management, reporting, etc.. Your leadership in this role will contribute to the enhancement of our PEO offerings and play a crucial part in the success of our clients and their employee benefits experience.
Responsibilities
+ Develop and execute a comprehensive benefits strategy for the PEO Specialty Group, focusing on medical benefits, workers' compensation, solutions design, tax management and reporting. Align the strategy with market trends, regulatory requirements, and the unique needs of our clients.
+ Responsible for maximizing consumption of benefits program inside the base and driving tactics for benefit attachment during open enrollment.
+ Responsible for management, organization, and execution of inside pricing strategies through solutions design team; including Flex and Prism products and renewal sensitivity analysis completion.
+ Maintains a strong focus on sales process improvement and operations initiatives. Responsible for executing solutions in partnership with PEO sales and service teams to re-engineer and simplify processes.
+ Influences sales strategy related to channels, strategic accounts, and vertical market segmentation.
+ Manage relationships with benefit vendors, carriers, and service providers. Negotiate contracts, evaluate performance, and ensure vendor alignment with service level expectations.
+ Collaborate closely with client-facing teams to understand client needs, gather feedback, and tailor benefits solutions that enhance client satisfaction and retention.
+ Communicates the vision and strategy to the PEO specialty organization, motivating people to commit to actions that achieve or exceed business goals.
+ As part of the PEO senior leadership team, identifies ongoing enhancements to the value proposition, sales & service strategy, and pricing approach for the PEO organization to support client satisfaction and future revenue attainment.
+ Oversees and becomes directly involved in the recruitment of superior leadership talent. Recruits, selects, hires, and evaluates performance of talent to ensure departmental needs are met.
+ Effectively communicates the results and action plans of the PEO specialty organization in executive-level business reviews.
+ Assists in negotiations and onboarding for M&A deals and supports the acquired businesses productivity, profitability, and synergies.
Qualifications
+ Master's Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or another related field - Preferred
+ 10+ years of experience in Progressive leadership experience in PEO or HR outsourcing industry.
+ 5 years of experience in Executive level leadership experience.
+ Benefits strategy experience.
+ Mergers & Acquisitions experience.
