Behavioral Health Technician

**Pay:** $16-20 (depending on experience) + shift differential
**Sign-On Bonus:** $500 sign-on bonus
**Block scheduling: 3x12s - 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am**
**Shift Differentials:**
Weeknight Shift Differential (Mon-Thurs): 10%
Weekend Day Shift Differential (Sat, Sun): $1.00 more per hour
Weekend Night Shift Differential (Fri, Sat, Sun): $2.00 more per hour
**Job Overview:**
You will be a part of a multidisciplinary team that works together providing care to patients in a Behavioral Health and Substance Abuse Treatment Facility. This role is under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN). The Behavioral Health Technician is tasked with ensuring unit safety, which involves identifying both environmental and patient-specific safety concerns and escalating them to the RN, RN Supervisor, Operations Supervisor, or designated individual when necessary.
**Qualifications:**
**Behavioral Health Experience is a must** Experience working with patients with substance abuse or who are mentally ill in one of these roles or similar.
Comfortable using restraints.
Be flexible with the night shift and overall shift availability.
Passion for helping people with substance abuse and mental health populations.
BLS (can be obtained while onboarding).
Must be eligible for fingerprint clearance card.

**Pay Details:** $16.00 to $20.00 per hour
