**Position Purpose:**

+ Provide general medical direction and supervision, ensuring excellent participant care.

+ Oversee clinical outcomes and Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) program.

+ Develop and maintain medical policies, standards, and protocols.

+ Provide leadership and guidance to colleagues and local community providers.

**What You Will Do:**

+ Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for participants.

+ Evaluate applicants and participate in intake decisions.

+ Facilitate discussions on medical conditions and future care planning.

+ Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for holistic care.

+ Educate participants and families on health maintenance.

+ Supervise healthcare programs and treatment plans.

+ Perform physical examinations and order diagnostic tests.

+ Participate in provider on-call rotation.

**Minimum Qualifications:**

+ Active physician license in Alabama.

+ Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Practice; Geriatrics preferred.

+ Experience in geriatrics and supervisory roles.

+ CDS Certification and DEA Registration.

+ Minimum one year working with elderly population.

+ Proficiency in physical assessment and chronic disease management.

+ Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
