We are excited to announce an immediate need for a dedicated OB/GYN physician to join our team in a locum-to-perm capacity near Berwick IL
Coverage Details:
- This position offers immediate coverage needs with an ongoing commitment.
- We are seeking candidates with strong OB and GYN experience who can effectively manage a variety of women's healthcare needs.
- The schedule involves Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm shifts, with a manageable 1:3 call rotation for nights and weekends.
- As part of our practice, you will work across clinic, hospital, and call settings, providing comprehensive care to our patient population.
- Our facility boasts a total of 15 beds, with no Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) currently on staff.
- You will be supported by a dedicated team including medical assistants, registered nurses, and sonographers.
- With 2-3 exam rooms, an onsite lab, and ultrasound services available, you will have the resources needed to deliver high-quality care.
- Your responsibilities will include basic OB/GYN services such as colposcopy, as well as managing a patient mix consisting of approximately 50% low-risk and 50% high-risk pregnancies.
- GYN procedures make up 60% of the practice, offering a well-rounded experience.
- Utilizing the Cerner EMR system, you will have access to comprehensive patient records and streamlined documentation processes.

- The credentialing process typically takes between 30 to 90 days, with temporary privileges granted. Please note that Case Logs for the past 2 years are required during credentialing, and providers without 2 years of both OB and GYN case logs are ineligible for Temp Privileges.
Candidate Requirements:
- Board Certification or Eligibility in OB/GYN is required to ensure the highest standards of care for our patients.
- Candidates with an Illinois license or Inter-State Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) eligibility are highly preferred.
- NRP certification is a requirement for this position.
- Strong OB and GYN experience is mandatory, and we encourage candidates to specify their years of experience at the time of application.
- Local providers are highly preferred to facilitate seamless integration into our practice and community.
