Customer Care Representative

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Gives price quotations to complete order sheets and once completed and checked, distribute order sheets to respective departments.
- Interacts with customers, company sales and/or service representative to handle a variety of pre-sales and post-sales functions, including order status, shipping dates, prices, product availability and back orders.
- Receives customer requests and prepares accurate documents/trouble tickets related to processing returns, servicing, and exchanges.
- Maintain customer files with sales contracts and other information.
- Resolves return credit problems and production scheduling, shipping, or invoicing problems.
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Substantial understanding of the job and applies knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks.
- Works on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgement in resolving issues or in making recommendations.
- Ability to work independently on daily work, general instructions on newly introduced assignments.
- Recognize add-on business opportunities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- 2-year technical certification (technical job) or equivalent work experience or high school (non-technical job) with a minimum of four years of related experience.
- In-depth knowledge of the company and its products.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Frequently lift up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds
