JOB SUMMARY

The Clinical Systems Support Analyst's role is to act as a liaison between clinical staff, operational leaders, and clinical Epic Analysts in a relentless pursuit of patient safety, operational efficiency, complete revenue capture, stakeholder satisfaction, and achievement of an optimal experience. This position serves as a bridge between leadership, management, and the Epic analyst team members to support Administrative, Financial, Clinical, Quality, and Operational efficiencies. This position reports to the Director of Systems and Applications to provide support to Hamilton Health Care System departments and end users to assist in education related to the usage of the EHR platform, as well as integrated systems. The Clinical Systems Support Analyst supports optimizing workflows through system expertise, research, and information gathering. Working closely with physician services' leadership, project stakeholders, and associated vendors, the EHR Clinical Systems Support Analyst will review the current state of project activities, discuss current challenges, and identify and document areas of potential risks towards developing EHR workflows.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in nursing or health care administration preferred.

Licensure: Active RN license, healthcare certification, or IT and/or informatics certifications preferred.

Experience: 5 years of progressively, professional, related work experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities, combined with demonstrated professional growth and achievement. Previous informatics project development or project management experience preferred.

Skills:Possesses both technical and functional understanding of the tenets of EHR administration. Demonstrates the ability to be self-directed with excellent organizational, analytical, writing, interpersonal and project-related skills. Demonstrates excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Communicates effectively with all patient care-related disciplines; utilizing verbal, written, or electronic methods.
