The purpose of the Gatehouse Attendant (Night) position is to monitor shipping/receiving access control for the security and safety of all personnel and to perform data entry and report distribution to ensure BEK operational efficiencies are met and maintained. Responsibilities include:

* Review all relevant logs and documentation to ensure daily activities are completed in a timely manner.
* Communicate with all relevant personnel to fulfill duties accurately and efficiently.
* Support appropriate security procedures to ensure a safe work environment for all BEK personnel.
* Perform other duties as required by management to ensure operational standards are met and maintained

Note: Normal work schedule for this position is 12:45PM - 9:15PM Monday through Friday. You must be able to work this schedule to be considered for the position.



Job Qualifications:

* 3 months of work-related experience required; or combination of education and experience
* Food service industry experience preferred
* Computer and data-entry skills required; working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
* Ability to read and interpret rules/guidelines, operating and maintenance instructions
* Basic data entry (10-key by touch) skills
* Ability to learn and use relevant internal applications
* Basic math skills, as well as ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
* Able to work in extreme temperatures (cold and hot)
* Good communication skills
* Ability to follow instructions
* Self-starter with ability to multi-task
* Excellent organization skills
* Ability to work in fast-paced environment
* Customer-focused
* Strong attention to detail
* Good problem-solving skills
* High School graduate or equivalent
