Founded over 50 years ago, The Dobbert Companies is a family-owned, privately held, premier mechanical contracting company that provides comprehensive installation, maintenance, and servicing of fire sprinkler, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), and plumbing systems for academic, commercial, high-end residential, and industrial building owners, engineers, and general contractors.

We are hiring experienced HVAC technicians to install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems. As a member of our services team, you will be exposed to all phases of the project life cycle and will have the opportunity to help shape the future of The Dobbert Companies. Qualifications

* High school diploma, GED or suitable equivalent required
* 5 - 15+ years of previous HVAC technician work experience, with a willingness to continue education in the HVAC field required
* EPA certification required
* Considerable service and installation experience preferred (especially specialized classes with vendors such as Carrier, Fujitsu, and Mitsubishi)
* Experience with diagnostic tools and analyzers preferred
* Valid driver's license required
* Proper U.S. work authorization required
* Able to commute daily on 6 AM morning and 4 PM afternoon ferries strongly preferred
* Willing to travel up to 80% of the workweek (Monday - Thursday) and to live with coworkers in group housing if you do not live full-time on Nantucket or if you don't have the ability to commute daily on 6 AM morning and 4 PM afternoon ferries
* Able to work "on call" as needed
* Fluent in spoken and written English required
* Physical dexterity required

* Competitive hourly wages, amount varies based on housing requirements
