QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. Basic computer knowledge required.
  • Valid driver's license and driving record that meets company insurability standards.
  • Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certifications preferred
  • Medium/Heavy Truck Parts Specialist Certification preferred
  • Must be able to drive across county and state lines

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
  • Pick up and deliver parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors.
  • Verify items match invoice and that there is a purchase order for any pick-ups.
  • Verify part number and quantity match each customer invoice at dealership and upon delivery.
  • Keep an accurate log of daily deliveries and pick-ups.
  • Unload truck each night.
  • Handle basic maintenance of the truck including filling tank with fuel, maintaining tire proper pressure, wiper blades, checking fluids, keeping van clean, and making sure required inspections are performed.
  • Ask customers at each stop if they have anything to return including any core inventory.
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed.
