JOB RELATIONSHIPS House Supervisor and/or Team Leader/Staff Nurse DEFINITION OF POSITION The patient safety observer is a member of the healthcare team. The observer is responsible for monitoring one or more assigned patients on a designated unit for a specific time period. The role of the observer is to monitor the patient for safety.#Assist with room turnover, emptying of trash, linen changes, PPE restocking. Assist with patient transport. Support the department staff as a resource runner and delivering needed items between departments. QUALIFICATIONS Professional High school education or equivalent preferred. Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification preferred
