Performs and/or assists with various types of ultrasound procedures, following protocols established by the radiologists. Prepares and maintains equipment, checks for proper patient preparation, and operates ultrasound equipment. Required to become a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) within twelve (12) months of hire.
Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
Non Degree Program : graduate of a 2yr AMA approved Ultrasound program. (Required)
Experience
2 Years experience in Ultrasound (Preferred)
License/Certifications
BLS - Basic Life Support (Preferred)
