Department: Controls

Reports to: Controls Supervisor and on-site Foreman

FLSA Status: Non-exempt (Eligible for OT)

Location: Louisville, CO

Wage Range: $20 -$28/hourly depending on experience Sign-on Bonus available for Licensed Journeymen

Job Description:

The Refrigeration Controls Field Installer ensures the Safety of those we work with and around, the Quality of the services we provide, and the realization of our Profitability goals as it specifically relates to troubleshooting and solving a wide range of control-related issues. The ideal candidate must be technically inclined and will assist with the installation of conduit, wire, cable, equipment, components, and devices associated with the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems we install.

Responsibilities:

* Safety management to ensure ZERO INCIDENTS within all areas of the company
* Demonstrate the Company's Core Values individually and departmentally
* Arrive at job sites on time as scheduled to participate in pre-planning and safety discussions. Be ready to work
* Assist with the installation of heating, ventilation, refrigeration, and cooling units for commercial and industrial systems
* Develop a working knowledge of blueprints, system layout, and duct design
* Installs control devices including temperature sensors, pressure sensors, switches, and relays
* Installs refrigeration piping to specifications of the job
* Set/mount equipment, rough-in and trim duct systems, condensate piping, and control wiring
* Pulling wire and installing low-voltage wiring, systems, and fixtures
* Gathering materials to assist Journeyman and team members
* Documents work by completing paperwork on each job, including daily time, safety, progress, and duration
* Maintains inventory, company equipment, and documents related to projects assigned to you
* Regular travel in the Denver and Front Range area with the flexibility to work overtime as necessary
* Clean up as needed
* Assist with factory start-up
* Keeps current on products concerning the installation of controls and equipment
* Additional duties as assigned



Qualifications:

* Demonstrate an ability and willingness to participate in an approved apprentice training program
* Mechanical aptitude
* Basic math skills
* Ability to follow directions with high integrity and ethics
* Ability to work safely with hand and power tools
* Ability to work at heights and on ladders
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work individually and as part of a team
* Demonstrate a positive attitude and desire to learn
* Must have a valid driver's license and clean MVR
* Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
