Patient Service Representative/Medical Assistant - Sleep Center

Who You Are:

What You'll Do:

* Greet and register patients, ensuring accurate demographic and insurance information.
* Document patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR) system and scan important documents.
* Schedule referrals, lab work, and follow-up appointments.
* Assist providers with patient exams, diagnostic studies, and treatments.
* Take patient vital signs, review medical histories, and verify medications.
* Prepare instrument trays, sterilize equipment, and maintain clinical areas.
* Conduct patient education and provide necessary health information.
* Assist with lab sample processing and manage patient follow-ups.

What You'll Bring:

* High school diploma or equivalent required.
* Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
* CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) certification required.
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
* Knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT coding, insurance procedures, and billing practices.
