SUMMARY STATEMENT

The position acts as the public address announcer making sure that teams and individual athletes are recognized and that fans have a feel for the action of the contests. This person will announce starting line-ups, provide advertisements for sponsors, and announce scores and future contests of all HCC teams.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

A. The Announcer reports directly to and is responsible to Director of Athletics, Exercise Science and Health and the ARCC Associate who is on duty during specific events.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

The working conditions includes a certain degree of discomfort and unpleasantness working outside in certain weather conditions and other external and/or internal environments, as well as some office work. The position requires a degree of physical effort and possessing strength, agility, and physical effort carrying out duties as assigned and resulting in noticeable fatigue.
