Job Description
As an integral part of the business development process, Programming Coordinators (Appointment Setters) are responsible for initiating contact with prospective organizations and scheduling phone appointments for a member of the Programming team.

Programming Coordinators receive base pay plus uncapped commissions

Responsibilities:
  • Calling on marketing and advertising decision makers at nation-wide companies to introduce BrandStar and our five-award winning national TV shows.
  • Make 80-100 outbound calls per day.
  • Using online research to get to the decision makers.
  • Schedule appointments for these potential clients with senior members of the Programming team.

Work schedule is 8:30am-5:30pm Monday - Friday.

Experience and Skills
Requirements:
  • Successful Programming Coordinators typically have previous experience in business-to-business cold calling that involves outbound calls.
  • 2+ years of outbound, business-to-business, sales and/or appointment setting experience preferred
  • Confident and comfortable speaking with C-Level executives
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding internet research skills
  • Computer proficiency and intermediate level user of Microsoft Outlook
  • Well organized and professional
  • Inspires others with enthusiasm and positive energy
  • Ability to connect to all types of people
  • Customer Focused, Team Player, and 'Whatever It Takes Attitude'
