Child & Family Specialist II

Tarzana Treatment Centers Youth Services in Tarzana has an exciting opportunity for a Full Time Bilingual Wraparound Child and Family Specialist responsible for meeting with clients for weekly 1:1 sessions and participating in Child and Family Team Meetings for Wraparound clients to ensure continuity of care. Wraparound is an intensive mental health program. Duties include individual sessions to promote skill building, teach coping skills, community activities, IEPs, court attendance, linkage to resources, and other activities identified by the family as a need. This is a field-based position and requires availability 24/7 for crisis intervention. Good driving record required, must have own transportation, a valid CA driver's license and insurance. Flexible work schedule is a must. Strong verbal and writing skills a must. Fluency in English and Spanish preferred. Applicant must have at minimum an Associate Arts degree in a Human Services field plus one-year experience working with at-risk youth or a high school diploma plus three years' experience working with at risk youth. However, a BA/BS in health-related field is preferred. Must be able to successfully complete a Live Scan and intensive background check. DMH documentation experience desirable.
