Work Type: Full Time

40 hours per week

Work Schedule: 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM - BONUS ELIGIBLE

Sign on bonus: $7,000 sign on bonus for Certified Surgical Techs with less than 2 years of experience & a $10,000 sign on bonus for Certified Surgical Techs with 2+ years of experience.

* Current employees of any Northern Light Member Organizations or those with a service break less than one year are not eligible for bonus*

Summary: Assists in operations, under the supervision of surgeons, registered nurses, or other surgical personnel.

Responsibilities:

* Maintains sterile operative fields. • Maintains inventory of medical supplies or equipment. • Assists healthcare practitioners during surgery. • Positions patients for treatment or examination. • Protect patients or staff members using safety equipment. • Maintains a safe environment complying with NLH policies and procedures; reports and directly addresses environmental hazards and violations of patient safety policy and/or protocol when involved or observed. • May perform other duties upon request.

Other Information:

Surgical Technician Certification preferred. BLS Required.

* Lifting, moving and loading 30 to 50 pounds.
