Position Title: Head Start Site Director

Location: Texas City, Texas

Position Summary

Direct and manage overall campus operations at an Early Head Start campus(Early Learning Academy) in Texas City, Texas. Supervise all teachers, teaching assistants, food preps, floaters and subs for the Early Head Start Campus. Site Director will be responsible for the Early Head Start Campus. Responsible for leadership of the campus instructional program ensuring high standards of instruction and student achievement, compliance with federal, state and district policies, application of instructional programs, and effective operation of all campus activities. Maintain compliance with all Head Start Performance Standards including Pawnee ISD and Upbring agency policies and procedures.

Position Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree with 12 college hours in Child Development (or)
  • Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Development (or)
  • Child Care Administrator's Certificate and 6 hours in Management
  • Administrator/Supervisory experience at Early Childhood or Elementary Level - Required
  • CPR/First Aid Certification preferred

Duties/Responsibilities
