Responsibilities

* Perform the general lawn maintenance tasks (mowing turf and natural grass/areas, weed whacking, driveway drags/raking) of client properties
* Assist with various other landscape maintenance tasks and landscape enhancement projects including but not limited to: gutters, beds, patios, docks, digging trenches, removals, pruning and planting of small trees and shrubs, storm cleanups as needed
* Prepare, load, and unload trucks for the day's tasks.
* Maintain cleanliness and general maintenance of trucks, trailers, and other equipment.
* Ensure all time entries at job sites are submitted accurately and timely on our mobile software device
* Operate equipment safely, using all necessary personal protection gear and safety practices.
* Maintain courteousness and professionalism on and off the job site
* Attend safety trainings and other staff meetings as required.
* Drive a truck with a trailer safely (for driving eligible candidates)
* Support in snow removal operations seasonally

Qualifications

* At least 1 year of experience in landscape maintenance (preferred) Willing to train the right individual(s)
* Ability to perform heavy lifting, pushing, pulling of various landscape equipment and materials (i.e. bark blowers, walker mowers, backpack blowers, wheel barrows etc.)
* Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
* Possess a positive attitude and willingness to learn
* Capable of working independently and as part of a team
* Valid Driver's License

Compensation

The salary for this position ranges from $18.00-$25.00 per hour. Overtime is regularly available.
