Maintenance Technician

We are looking for a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician to join our Lux Row team in Bardstown, KY. As a Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for routine maintenance on distillery equipment, PLC and instrumentation troubleshooting and electrical work.

What will you do?

* Working with Maintenance Supervisor to ensure preventive and routine maintenance is being conducted.
* Knowledge of all Distillery equipment including but not limited to pneumatics, pumps, hydraulics, valves etc.
* Communicating with the Distillery Supervisor and Maintenance Supervisor regarding equipment malfunction and or corrective action on daily basis.
* Assisting in maintaining and ensuring proper operation of boiler, reverse osmosis (RO) system, water softener, chiller, and cooling tower.
* Working knowledge and ability to service and troubleshoot programmable logical controller (PLC) and instrumentation.

What do you need to bring to the table?

* Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
* A minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience within the food and/or beverage field with a strong understanding of the maintenance processes or licensed in skilled trade.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to multitask and work independently.
* Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
