Summary:

Performs high quality neurodiagnostic testing as prescribed by physicians according to established policies and procedures.

Tests performed may include: EEGs, NCTs, EPs, ENG/VNG.TCDs, VLTM

Formal Education Required:

* Completion of a certified program for Neurology Technicians or two (2) years neurological testing experience.

Experience & Training Required:

* BCLS Certification required.
* Ability to perform neurological diagnostic testing, including: EEG's, nerve conductions (NCT), evoked potentials (EPs), electronystagmogram (ENG), and intra operative monitoring preferred (IOM)

Other Skills Competencies and Qualifications:

* Preferred Certifications: ABRET Certification in EG or AAET or AANEM for NCT; EP, LIM, or NIOM.
* Ability to effectively interact with populations of patients/customers with an understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity

Level of Physical Demands:

* Prolonged standing/walking.
* Pushes/pulls or moves/lifts equipment, supplies or patients.
* May be exposed to the risk of blood borne pathogens through direct patient contact.

$24.68/hr - $29.62/hr

The salary range on this job posting/advertising is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials. Many factors, such as years of relevant experience and geographical location are considered when determining the starting rate of pay. We believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members when determining offers. Please keep in mind that the range that is listed is the full base salary range. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical.
