**Description:**

**Position Purpose:**

This Cafeteria Aide is responsible a variety of cafeteria food preparation and service duties including hot food steam table, grill, and sandwich service and cashiering. Performs a variety of food service area setup and closing procedures including sanitation duties.

**What you will do:**

+ Perform cashiering duties according to approved cashiering procedures, waiting on customers quickly and courteously.

+ Communicate effectively (written and verbal) with colleagues, patients, and family member.

+ Food service duties including, sandwich making, grill work, salad bar prep, cleaning, restocking, etc.

**Minimum Qualifications** **:**

+ **Education** : High School diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED).

+ Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

+ Ability to work in a fast-paced customer service operation.

+ Experience in a cafeteria type food services operation preferred.

+ Ability to pass drug screenings and background checks.
