Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Qualify and maintain laboratory equipment

• Perform preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment

• Clean, repair, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment

• Coordinate with service contractors on equipment repairs, installation, and maintenance

• Ensure laboratory equipment meets regulatory standards

• Track equipment repairs and routine maintenance schedules

• Train individuals on proper equipment usage

• Provide input on equipment planning and purchase

• Record tasks in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP)

• Follow applicable SOPs and procedural documents

• Review, update, or author SOPs and forms as required

• Other tasks as assigned

Education, Experience & Skills Required:

• Associate Degree or higher with experience working on laboratory equipment; all experiences will be evaluated

• Able to oversee and repair laboratory equipment

• Able to develop processes and forms for documenting equipment maintenance and repair

• Able to track and manage revolving maintenance schedules

• Able to work in a regulated environment

• Able to work effectively and contribute within a team

• Able to work with computer systems

• Able to document clearly & lift 30 pouunds
