CSI understands clients and staff have been impacted by trauma. CSI is becoming a trauma-informed organization by hiring individuals with existing experience in trauma-informed practices as well as supporting ongoing staff development with trauma-informed practices. This will include learning to recognize symptoms of trauma and how to respond, through training starting at orientation and throughout their career at CSI. Program Overview
Program Overview
Community Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Fulltime Residential Re-Entry Specialist to work in our Residential Work Release Program located in Wilmington, DE. These are programs for state and federal work release clients who live in a congregate setting and are supported as they obtain full-time employment and meet financial and self-sufficiency goals. The programs administer assessments, monitor compliance with treatment plan goals and involve clients in direct treatment services that address their criminogenic tendencies. Random breathalyzer or urinalysis, cognitive behavioral groups, and case management assist the client in maintaining stability leading to successful discharge.
Position Overview
* Report to work 15 minutes before their scheduled shift for example staff hired for the 4pm-12am shift are required to report to work by 3:45pm.
* Provide update on any client issues and incidents
* Verify all physical items being passed between shifts.
* Ensure security of facility keys.
* Conduct employment, job search and home confinement spot checks on each shift.
* Conduct common area, room searches and perimeter searches as assigned and document results.
* Conduct pat/pocket searches on all clients entering the facility and document results.
* Confiscate any contraband found and complete incident report.
* Complete house counts every hour from Midnight to 8am and every 2 hours from 8am to 10pm and document results.
* Transport Clients as needed in a Company vehicle.
* Conduct monthly emergency drills.
* Secure urines from same sex clients and complete all required paperwork and electronic documentation.
* Supervise all client visitation. Sign all visitors and contractors in and out of the facility.
* Complete intake on all new arrivals prior to the end of your shift. Facilitate client orientation as assigned.
* Facilitate all client movement in and out of the facility.
* Monitor client's self-administration of medication.
Schedule: Fri-Mon 10pm-8am
Hourly Rate: $19.25-$19.92 *Candidates with a minimum of 6 months Residential experience will be brought in at $19.92/hour. All other candidates will start at $19.25/hour plus an opportunity to move up to $19.62 after 6 months of uninterrupted service and demonstrated ability to perform the RRS role proficiently and independently*
Qualifications
* High School Diploma plus 4 years' experience in the social service or criminal justice field.
* Education may be substituted with relevant experience on a one year for one year basis.
* Strong attention to details
* Valid driver's license.

* Two (2) weeks' vacation accrued within the first year, bumped to three (3) weeks accrual after 1 year of service.
