Join our growing healthcare team as a Pulmonary Critical Care Physician at our Union location in Monroe, NC. This facitlity is part of Atrium's Greater Charlotte Market, about 45-minutes from Uptown Charlotte, NC. Specific fellowship training in Pulmonary/Critical Care is required.

We provide:

* Small practice with excellent referral base. Availability to refer to tertiary center within 30 miles.
* Great mix of pulmonary pathology.
* Collegial group environment, where academic practice is feasible and supported.
* Multiple Atrium health-affiliated internal medicine and family medicine practices which utilize our consultative services. Critical care service is consultative only.
* Competitive, robust compensation and comprehensive benefits package.

Our Practice:

* Practice environment with established group of 5 Pulmonary/Critical Care physicians.
* Outpatient M-F 8a-4p; Inpatient 12/7. Nocturnal coverage is by virtual critical care service.
* Outpatient - Adults 75%/ Inpatient- Adults 25%.
* The Union location has 200 beds, open ICU.

Qualifications:

* Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
* Board certification in Critical Care.
* Experience or fellowship training in pulmonary/critical care is required.
* Strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
* Eligibility for medical licensure in the state of North Carolina.
