Mission Healthcare at Bellevue is looking for compassionate nursing assistants to help serve our patients Our patients receive specialized short-term or rehabilitative care following surgery or a hospital stay. We are an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team built from the very best among physicians, therapists, nurses, social workers, dietitians, wound care specialists, and more.

* This position is eligible for overtime
* Hourly Position $26.00 - $28.00 / DOE

As a member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for the direct care of our patients and their ADL's such as bathing, toileting, feeding, grooming, etc. as directed by the RN or LPN in charge. Always maintains patient comfort and safety. Follows all departmental policies and procedures as well as safety, environmental, and infection control standards. Adheres to the facility's Core Values and mission with complete regard for the dignity of each person.

Summary of Responsibilities

* Providing great patient care.
* Answering patient calls and determining how best to help them.
* Providing physical support for patients or residents with daily activities and personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, getting out of bed, - using the toilet, walking, standing, or exercising.
* Recording vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rate as requested by staff.
* Examining patients to detect issues requiring medical care, including open wounds, bruises, or blood in the urine.
* Reminding patients to take medications and nutritional supplements.
* Assist or escort patients to dining room, daily activities, or therapy room.
* Assist with daily housekeeping duties - making of bed, disposal of trash, tray removal, etc.
* Noting observations of patient behavior, including complaints, or physical symptoms to nurses.
* Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

* Must have current CNA certification in WA State
* Must have current CPR training
* Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted
* Must be in good health and physically/mentally capable of performing assigned tasks
* Must possess the ability to read, write and speak English
