Position Summary Details

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sidewalk Sweeper Supervisor to oversee our cleaning and maintenance staff. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards of cleanliness. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

* MUST HAVE VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE
* MUST HAVE MINIMUM 3YRS SUPERVISORY EXPERIENCE
* Supervising Sidewalk Sweepers, sweeping sidewalks outside in all kinds of weather
* MUST BE ABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS, HOLIDAYS & OVERTIME
* 40hrs a week 7:30am to 4:00pm Weekdays off

Responsibilities

* Supervise and coordinate the work of janitorial staff to ensure that all areas are cleaned and maintained according to company standards.
* Schedule and assign cleaning tasks, ensuring adequate coverage and efficient use of resources.
* Train and onboard new janitorial staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality performance.
* Conduct regular inspections off to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met.
* Address and resolve any issues or complaints related to cleaning services.
* Prepare and maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, staff schedules, and maintenance issues.
* Communicate effectively with staff, management, and clients to ensure satisfaction with cleaning services.
* Assist with cleaning tasks as needed, especially in high-demand situations.
* Develop and implement cleaning procedures and best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications

* Must be 18 years of age or older.
* Must meet all requirements to receive approval for working in specific ATS environments (if applicable), ten-year work history if available

Preferred Qualifications

* Customer Service experience.
* 2 yrs of commercial supervisor experience.
