70 hours bi-weekly
3rd Shift (Schedule is 7 days on / 7 days off; 9:00PM - 7:30AM Wed-Tues)
Includes weekend and holiday rotation
Signing Bonus: $5,000
Conducts a variety of laboratory procedure for use in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. Reports results to the ordering provider and may consult with providers regarding test results.
Candidate should be confident in their ability to perform laboratory testing and be able to learn new procedures. Ability to work independently, as well as with a team. A positive attitude and the willingness to help others is very important. Excellent communication skills are needed as they will be speaking with physicians, providers and staff from other departments. Must have the initiative to complete department tasks without being prompted.
Requirements
Medical Technologist (MT)/Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS)
Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology, Chemistry, Biology or other science major from an accredited college or university which includes at least three (3) months clinical laboratory training. One (1) year of experience as a MT/MLS Generalist is preferred. Certification from a nationally recognized accrediting authority is preferred. Employee must be registry eligible.
Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
Associate Degree (A.A.S.) in Medical Laboratory Technician or equivalent science from an accredited two-year college or technical school with at least three (3) months of clinical laboratory training. One (1) year of experience as a Medical Laboratory Technician Generalist is preferred. Certification from a nationally recognized accrediting authority is preferred. Employee must be registry eligible.
