Sign On Bonus: $2500.00, half paid at 60 days and the remaining half paid at 90 days.

Diesel Technician Pay Range: $25.00-$40.00/hour D.O.E.

Diesel Mechanic/Technician Job Duties

* Responsible for repairing, maintaining diesel engines and diesel components used in various vehicles and diesel equipment.
* Trailer air brake and electrical systems.
* Accurately and efficiently diagnose complex diesel engine conditions and make necessary repairs.
* Communicate effectively with peers, foreman, and service team regarding those repairs.
* Quality control work performed to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
* Keep paperwork updated and handed in upon completion.
* Meet requirements for certifications.
* Rotational On-Call

Diesel Mechanic/Technician Requirements

* Valid Driver's license (Bonus compensation for CDL holders)
* Must possess a good work ethic, a positive attitude, and be reliable.
* Must possess an excellent understanding of Detroit Diesel engines through the current GHG17 product.
* Experience with other diesel engine platforms such as Cummins, CAT, & International are a plus.
* Other mechanical skills desired but not essential: Hydraulics, Brakes & Suspension, Manual Transmissions, Drive Train, and Automatic Transmissions.

* Technical degree or certification a plus.
* High school diploma or equivalent

* Positive attitude and the ability to set goals and accomplish them.

* Solid written and verbal communication skills
