POSITION SUMMARY Under the direction of the Director of Radiology and the Medical Director, the MRI Technologist is responsible for performing duties directly involving a variety of technical procedures applying to Magnetic Resonance Imaging. This position works at a technical level under limited supervision, independently performing MRI procedures. Procedures performed require independent judgment and initiative as well as a comprehensive understanding of MRI safety. BENEFITS # Retirement plan with a generous employer contribution of 6% and a 1% match. Weekend shift differential of $4.00 per hour.# Working with a friendly and supportive TEAM Health, Dental, and Vision insurance (80% of the cost covered by employer). Generous earn time accrual rate. # QUALIFICATION EDUCATION: Formal AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology is required. EXPERIENCE/SKILL SETS: Previous experience in MRI in a hospital setting LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION(S): ARRT Registry required MRI Registry required Certified in CPR Venipuncture Certification required, can be obtained within 3 months of hire.
