This positions offers the ability for the candidate to choose a part-time or full-time position along with offering Student Loan Assistance

Plans, directs, and provides nutritional assessment and care to patients/residents and provides community nutrition education pursuant to Health System mission and philosophy.

Assesses patient's nutritional status and needs. Develops and implements patient care plans and assesses patient responses.

Collaborates with physicians, nursing, pharmacy and other healthcare team members/departments to determine, coordinate, and provide medical nutrition therapy.

Collaborates with nutrition services to provide nutritionally appropriate menus, food options, and services for patients and visitors.

Develops and provides education, training, consulting, and counseling services throughout the organization and for the community on topics including eating disorders, weight loss, and dietary modifications for healthy lifestyles.

Participates in all discharge planning meetings and patient/resident team conferences.

Participates as Consulting Dietitian and fulfills all consulting contracts.

Coordinates, implements, and evaluates all Health policies and procedures related to diets/menus, drug/nutrition interaction, and nutrition education.

Must-Haves

1. School of Dietetics Bachelor's Degree

2. Registered with Commission on Dietetic Registration

3. Appropriate State License or Certification

4. Basic Life Support (BLS) - Available Upon Hire

Nice-To-Haves

1. Two+ years' Experience as Dietitian in Healthcare Preferred
