Staff Pharmacist

Williams Bros Health Care Pharmacy is looking for a Staff Pharmacist to lead, direct, and manage the daily pharmacy activities. Expectations include ensuring optimal customer service, prescription verification, and working in a team environment.

We are looking for an experienced Part Time, Staff Pharmacist to join our Olney location.

The Pharmacist will oversee/complete the following tasks:

* Ensure the development and conduct of patient-oriented clinical pharmacy services including a) drug information; b) collection of pharmacy patient data base; c)patient education; d) monitoring and auditing of therapeutic drug regimes; e) drug use review; f) monitoring of specific adverse drug reactions; and g) other services, as required, to optimize drug use in patient care.
* Assure compliance with federal, state and local drug control regulations relating to pharmaceutical acquisitions by keeping abreast of and adhering to new and existing regulations. This position also maintains DEA forms secured for review by DEA, FDA and Board of Pharmacy.
* Collects pertinent patient information and enters patient data.
* Greets walk-in customers promptly, courteously and above all, in a friendly manner.
* Consults with walk-in customers as to their needs. Use open-ended questions effectively as part of the sales process.

Hours: M - F 8:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Sat. 8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. with various rotating shifts.
