Job Duties
  • Responsible for the registration of patients, scheduling of patient appointments, verification of insurance, entering of demographic data, collection of co-payments, etc.
  • Registering patients for hospital and physician clinic services in a healthcare setting
  • Scheduling patient examinations, procedures, and surgery appointments for hospitals and physician clinics
  • Responsible for verifying patient insurance benefit coverage via phone and online insurance payer portals
  • Updating patient accounts with registration, insurance, demographic, scheduling, and billing data
  • Providing superior high-volume patient customer service in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years healthcare/medical call center experience
  • Solid Understanding of Medical Terminology
  • MS Office Skills
  • Excellent communication skills required.
