Job Summary:
We are currently recruiting for the role of Facility Medical Director at CHIPPENHAM PEDIATRIC ER located in Richmond, VA. This leadership opportunity will oversee a growing (established) team of clinicians and advanced practice clinicians.
Qualified Candidates:
As Facility Medical Director (FMD) you will work closely in a peer "dyad" with the Regional Medical Director, Vice President of Operations and a dedicated Provider Services Team.
* The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in physician leadership, with current experience in clinical practice and exceptional clinical skills.
* We are seeking leaders who have a commitment to quality, operational and financial management experience, along with the ability to foster collaborative relationships with team physician and hospital leadership physicians.
* Must be residency trained in emergency medicine or pediatrics fellowship training in pediatric medicine
* Virginia licensure or ability to obtain

About Chippenham Hospital:
* 466-acute bed hospital with a Level I trauma provisional accreditation
* 135-bed inpatient acute psychiatric hospital for child, adolescent, adult and geriatric admissions
* 50-bed ER
* 32-bed private medical surgical ICU, 12-bed private cardiovascular ICU integrated with our cardiovascular stepdown unit, 12-bed arrhythmia care unit, 8-bed pediatric ICU
* 15 operating rooms with the latest surgical technology available, including robots that are used in thoracic and orthopedic surgeries
