DEFINITION/PRIMARY FUNCTIONS These positions are credentialed through the medical staff office see scope of practice within the medical staff office for duties and responsibilities. Neurosurgery Opportunity # Opportunity Highlights Seeking a general neurosurgeon with expertise in both spine and intracranial work.# No pediatric experience is required. Collaboration with other specialties, including Neurology, Pain Management, Rehabilitation, General Surgery and Trauma. Balance of OR, inpatient and outpatient time. State of the art Neuronavigation for spine and intercranial tumors. Hospital employed position in a niche practice. Berkshire Health Systems offer a competitive salary, including relocation/sign on bonus. Exceptional benefits along with 6 weeks of vacation and 10 days additional of CME and $4500 allowance for CME activity. # Location Highlights The Berkshires, located in the northwestern part of Massachusetts, offers a beautiful setting with a small town feel and endless cultural opportunities of a big city.
